TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) is a globally recognized English language proficiency test accepted by over 11,000 universities, professional organizations, immigration authorities, scholarship agencies, and institutions across 150 countries. It is considered the most widely accepted English language test worldwide, administered in more than 4,500 test centers across 165+ countries.

Administered by the non-profit organization ETS (Educational Testing Service), The TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based Test) evaluates the proficiency of individuals who are not native English speakers in their capacity to understand and utilize English as it is employed in both spoken and written forms within academic environments, such as colleges and universities.

The iBT format is the most commonly conducted form of TOEFL worldwide. Students can take the TOEFL test multiple times, with a maximum limit of once in a 12-day period.
